A fine antique Victorian sterling silver double Albert chain.

Nice chunky curb links with two sterling silver dog clip fasteners either end, both hallmarked.

The watch chain has an extra length of curb link chain suspended from the main chain which holds an antique shield fob.

The fob is very attractive and very well made, it has a cut out, engraved border and an applied Rose gold shield shaped cartouche to the centre, this is not engraved so could be personalised if desired.

The reverse is engraved with initials and Junior Championship 1898, below the engraved initials you can just make out an Rd number.

Fully hallmarked for the sought after Chester Assay office, 1897, Charles Edward Solomon.

Each link of the chain bears the lion passant for sterling silver.

A nice heavy chain, the perfect piece for displaying your favourite pocket watch or pendant.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some rubbing of the marks, overall patina and age commensurate surface wear.
