A handsome antique sterling silver hip flask.
It is made entirely from sterling silver, it has a smooth polished finish and a slightly concave shape, rounded edges and corners and a monogram to the front of a name and from name, looks to be a company, gifted in April 1902.
It is a pocket flask and does not stand.
The hip flask has a rounded bayonet screw / flip cap.
It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1900, maker Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders and James Francis Hollings.
It retains the original cork within the lid, it is advisable to keep the Cork moist to retain a good seal.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use commensurate with age, a little wear to the inner Cork, some small dings / dents throughout including the sides and cap.
