An attractive antique, Victorian sterling silver knot brooch.
Also known as the lovers knot, it features a double loop and bar shape which has light engraving to the front.
It is a large sized brooch but is hollow so light to wear.
The brooch has an old c type clasp fastener and a silver safety chain and pin.
Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1880s.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, there is a hole / split to the seam at the bottom, this can't be seen from the front but is there, a few localised dents, price reflects.
Approx measurements:
2" width at the widest point
1.5" length
