An attractive and unusual antique sterling silver vesta case.

Late Victorian era, it is a chunky rectangular shape with a smooth polished reverse.

It has a well designed front with a half wrythen fluted and half repousse floral design separated diagonally.

A very fine piece with a good weight to it and lots of detailing.

Fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, 1892, maker Thomas Acott.

Perfect as a large statement pendant or hung from a nice chunky silver albert chain.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age, lid opens and closes well.
