A stunning rare vintage, Art Deco, early 20th century bronze casket / box.
A scarce piece the box consists of a bronze frame with cold painted landscapes on each of the side panels, it stands slightly raised and has a varinshed wooden liner / insert.
The top of the box has an applied sculpture of two cold Pheasants, a male and a female.
Very well made with lots of detailing.
It is a good size perfect for using as a jewellery box or could be used as a tobacco box.
It is heavy and sturdy, Austrian made, early 20th century.
It is suitable for holding larger jewellery items or personal treasures.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, some light surface wear and signs of use commensurate with age.
