A stunning antique Georgian era pink topaz and paste cluster ring.

This is a very grand ring with a huge oval cut light pink topaz to the centre surrounded by a gold bezel frame and a halo of sparkling old cut paste stones in a floral design.

The stones are set into a heavy closed back sterling silver setting and the stones are foiled which was common for the period and adds extra shine.

The band is exceptional and is crafted in 18ct yellow gold with fancy design shoulders and a twist design at the back bearing the marks.

Marked to the back of the band with a continental mark but this is very worn, makers mark is visible, tests as 18ct gold and silver.

Continental make c1790s, Topaz has an estimated 2.43ct weight, gemstones estimated in setting and are approximate.

An exceptional Georgian era ring ready to be worn again.
