An incredibly beautiful early Victorian era snake pendant and Pinchbeck Albert chain.

A nice early piece of Victorian jewellery the pendant is made from rich gilt metal and is designed a coiled snake, the head to the top and tail nestled at the bottom.

The snake is coiled around a central black banded agate circular panel which is star set with tiny seed pearls.

The pendant is attached to an early Victorian Pinchbeck Albert or watch chain with a wheat curb link and a gold plated dog clip either end.

C1840s English make, unmarked.

Perfect for displaying your favourite pocket watch or fob watch or wearing as a statement necklace.

A very fine piece, this would make a beautiful gift for someone Special or as a treat for yourself!

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some wear to the metal commensurate with age, dog clips are a later replacement.
