Victorian mourning ring, initial C, 9ct Rose gold, black enamel

A pretty antique, late Victorian era mourning ring.

This is an initial ring with an applied rose gold letter C, lightly engraved and set on a rich black enamelled panel front.

The ring has decorative split shoulders and a slim smooth polished band in rose gold.

This style was popular towards the end of the 19th century and through the Edwardian era.

It is marked 9ct on the band.

Late Victorian era, English make.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear / scratches commensurate with age and use.
