A gorgeous antique Victorian silver collar or book chain necklace.
There is so much detailing going on in this necklace with heavily engraved and scalloped links.
The links are medium width, and have beautiful aesthetic floral engraving to one side and a plain polished finish on the other side.
This makes them the perfect 'day to night' piece as they can be worn on either side to change up the look.
It has a large sterling silver spring ring attached ready for attaching your favourite locket or pendant and it has a nice longer length.
Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1880s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear and patina commensurate with age.
