This Victorian book chain collar necklace is really something special.
It has finely engraved boxy silver gilt links, each engraved with leaves, these are linked together by pretty engraved silver spacer links with beaded finial ends.
It fastens with two large Victorian spring ring fasteners and comes with two spare links (not shown)
The spring rings are both silver plated.
A gorgeous chunky Victorian statement necklace, perfect for displaying your favourite locket or pendant but just as nice worn alone.
The chain is unmarked but tests as sterling silver, English make, Victorian aesthetic era.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, aged patina, some wear to the gilding moreso on the reverse, Spring rings are silver plated.
