A beautiful Victorian sterling silver locket and collar necklace.
Fancy chunky, double rolo link chain with large jump ring / clasp that holds the locket.
The locket itself has a square gadrooned outer border and all over engraving of fern leaves, one side is lined with a blue paper.
Hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham, 1881, maker Edwin Alfred Marsh.
Internally has the lion passant and date letter, bale stamped with the lion passant, the chain and bracelet are both unmarked but test as sterling silver.
Good used condition overall, lots of rich patina, light surface wear and scratches commensurate with age, locket has a very small split in the join of the panel at the front, see photos, if you need any more details please contact me.

Chain - 19" length and each link is just under 0.5" width
