A nicely carved antique, Victorian era whitby jet brooch.
Beautifully carved as a bow with teensy forget me not flowers all over the bow.
Forget me not flowers were a favoured symbol in Victorian mourning jewellery and this brooch is stacked full of sentiment.
Genuine carved whitby jet with a brass c type clasp fastener.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, age commensurate surface wear / scratches, a couple of small nibbles to the jet.
