This gorgeous Art Deco emerald and diamond cluster ring is a bit of a wounded beauty.
The emerald has a significant chip to the top facet and is now shy of the setting leaving a small gap at the top, see picture 2 for a close up.
The emerald has a good clarity and a lovely green blue hue with inclusions.
The ring head has some damage to the gold at the back and the band has been replaced.
Despite all this it is still such a beautiful ring and deserves some love, it has a good sized emerald surrounded by beautiful shining diamonds set into silver, the diamonds are a good colour and clarity and there is an approx total carat weight of 0.25.
The shoulders and band are 18ct yellow gold, the band is stamped 18ct and plat but this is a replacement.
Open back setting.
It's had a life! And it still presents beautifully, price reflects the condition.
Significant chip from the emerald with wear and scratches, slight damage to the ring head setting at the back, replacement band, stones nice and secure in the setting, bright and well secured diamonds.
