A gorgeous vintage 1970s era, Synthetic colour change sapphire or Alexandrite ring.
This ring is all about the centre stone, it is a faceted round cut gemstone with a large table.
The stone has a beautiful array of tones in different lights ranging from indigo blue to warm Amethyst like purple.
It has a smooth 12ct yellow gold band and the stone is claw set into a rope twist design raised mount, the claws featuring an up down pattern.
Fully hallmarked for 12ct gold, Egyptian marks, c1970s, tests as 12ct.
A Gorgeous statement piece, ready to be enjoyed once again, perfect for gifting.

Good used condition overall, some general surface wear commensurate with age, some light wear to the stone.
