A gorgeous vintage, retro era, c1940s Synthetic colour change sapphire ring.
This ring is all about the centre stone, it has a wonderful array of tones in different lights ranging from indigo blue to warm purple.
It has a smooth 9ct yellow gold band tapering from the setting and the stone is claw set into a scrolling raised basket mount.
Marked 9ct, c1940s, Mid century retro, marks are very worn, also tested as 9ct.

Good used condition overall, some general surface wear commensurate with age.
