A gorgeous vintage garnet dress ring.
A heavy and lustrous piece with a nice chunky yellow gold band with decorative faceted shoulders.
To the centre there is a large, faceted oval cut bohemian garnet, rich, deep, dark red, approximately 3 carat weight.
The gold has lovely rich warm tones more akin to the look of 18ct than 9ct, a good substantial band with a nice weight.
This is a ring you know you are wearing.
Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 9ct gold, 1971/72.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age.
