A gorgeous vintage Irish shamrock brooch.
This is such a beautiful piece with the lovely pearlised opaque blue paste cabs set into the front, these cabochons make up the leaves of the shamrock, they are chunky and smooth with a greeny blue opalescent hue.
The cabochon leaves are heart shaped and there are three leaves in total, a three leaved shamrock representing the Holy Trinity.
It is crafted in sterling silver with a dark patina and set around the rim with a border of twinkly marcasite stones.
The brooch has a safety style catch and pin fastener.
Made for the tourist market this is a gorgeous vintage piece ready to be worn and enjoyed.

Marked Irish made, silver, c1940s / 50s Mid century era.
